Hello There

Hello!

 My name is Kristine Villanueva and I major in journalism and minor in English. If you haven’t guessed, I love to write.  I didn’t want to be a journalism major right away. During Freshman year I was considering going into Graphic Design then realized I see the world through words more than aesthetics.

However,  I think that visual appeal can make stories come alive. That’s why I would lean more towards writing for magazines (even online) rather than for newspaper and have an appreciation for all things design. I also have a blog from last semester that I’ve continued as my independent study called What the Heck is Going On. (Shameless self-promotion)

I also love music and I can sing and play some guitar and piano.
